Uncover Sa Pa's Autumn Magic with 50% Off Travel Services

Lao Cai, Vietnam – Embracing the tourism stimulus program, Sun World Fansipan Legend, Cat Cat Tourist Area, hotels, and travel companies are offering significant discounts or free services.

On October 29, at the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area, the Lao Cai Tourism Association announced the largest tourism stimulus program of the year themed “Touch Sa Pa - Touch the Clouds,” running from November 2 to December 30. During this time, 130 businesses in Sa Pa will provide many incentives up to 50% off while ensuring service quality.

Accordingly, Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Company (Sun World Fansipan Legend) offers a flat rate for round-trip cable car tickets at only VND 550,000 for Vietnamese visitors—a 30% reduction from the original price. Visitors can explore Fansipan’s peak, admire the spiritual architecture, and engage in cultural activities of seven Northwest ethnic minorities at Cloud Village.

Many other tourist spots in Sa Pa are offering free entrance tickets and attractive incentives. Notably, Ta Phin Stone Garden and Mong Mo Rose Garden provide free admission, while Cat Cat Tourist Area offers free North-Western cuisine experiences and activities like beeswax painting, embroidery, and weaving with local villagers.

Hotels such as Chaulong Sapa, Amazing Sapa, Garden Sapa, Arista Sapa, and Le Bordeaux Sapa apply up to 50% direct room discounts. Hotel de la Coupole and Lady Hill Sapa Resort offer many dining and spa service incentives.

Some transportation companies like Inter Bus Lines and Eco Sa Pa also reduce round-trip bus ticket prices by up to 30%, providing a variety of transportation options from limousines to big buses.

Mr. Pham Cao Vy, representative of the Lao Cai Tourism Association, emphasized the need to stimulate tourism to recover the industry after the severe impacts of storms and floods. He called on all tourism businesses in the area to participate, aiming to kickstart Sa Pa tourism to thrive by the end of 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chien, Vice President of Sun Group Northern Region, stated that the previous tourism stimulus program “Visit Sa Pa - Fly amid the Flower Season” was more successful than expected. “This time, through deep preferential policies, we hope to attract many visitors to Sa Pa to discover the unique beauty of the cloud season,” Mr. Chien said.

Beyond deep incentive policies, Lao Cai Province and Sa Pa Town organize various cultural events to offer unique experiences to tourists. The activities include traditional festivals, art exhibitions, sports, and entertainment. Notably, the 3D Mapping light event and the stone lotus festival will be held for the first time at Sun World Fansipan Legend.

Sa Pa is in the cloud season—the perfect time for outdoor activities. The organizers hope the tourism stimulus program will increase Sa Pa’s allure and solidify its position as the leading destination in Northern Vietnam.
